Niskayuna Softball is excited to offer a catching clinic for our travel players. Join instructor and former college player Ange Stephano for 4 group catching lessons, focused on creating a solid base of proper catching form including framing, blocking, throw downs, bunt coverage, tag outs, and more.

Wednesdays, March 6, 13, 20 & 27 from 7:30-9pm
$80 for all 4 weeks
Craig Elementary School Gym
Registration is limited to 9 girls in each session - so sign up quickly!

Who is Ange Stephano?
Ange caught for 12 years and started playing travel ball when she was 9. She started her college career playing D2 at Cedarville University in Ohio on athletic scholarship, and went on to make conference all star teams. After that she transferred to Messiah College in Pennsylvania where she played the past two years including two NCAA regional tournament appearances.

What equipment do you need?
For equipment, girls will need catchers gear and a glove. She can try to do some things with girls who don’t have gear but ultimately there will be sections that girls cannot do without gear. A decent amount of time will be spent on blocking and they will definitely need gear to do that.

Clinic is open to all ages, but is intended for girls truly interested in developing as catchers. If you are interested in signing up, but do not have catcher's gear, email registration@niskysoftball.com and we may be able to loan some gear to you for the lessons.
